A one to two hour appointment
A thorough history of both mom and baby
An evaluation of the infants mouth and suck pattern, including an assessment for tongue tie

Discussion and treatment of common breastfeeding issues such as thrush,
mastitis, vasospasm, engorgement, supply concerns.
Pumping information and plans, including correct flange size and fit
2 weeks of virtual follow up via text or video chat
Initial Consultation - $300
Follow Up In-Person Consultation - $100
Visits can occur in your home for an additional $100
The Complete Lactation Package
A prenatal telehealth visit to maximize breastfeeding success
Three office visits — each visit lasting approximately one hour
Continued support in the first three months with unlimited phone, email and texts support
Evaluation of latch, positioning and milk transfer
Weighted feeds
A personalized feeding plan, including back-to-work plans
Information on different ways to supplement, if needed
Discussion and treatment of common breastfeeding issues such as
•Thrush
•Mastitis
•Vasospasm
•EngorgementPumping information and plans, including correct flange size and fit
The Complete Lactation Package is $850 and is best purchased prenatally as a gift to yourself or as a gift from family and friends. In-home visits are available for $100/visit within a 30 minute range from Portland.
Tongue Tie Release
Tongue tie is a common condition that occasionally contributes to breastfeeding difficulties, including a shallow and painful latch, cracked, bleeding and bruised nipples, poor weight gain and decreased milk supply. If tongue tie is determined to be the cause of a feeding issue, the solution is easy.
Tongue tie release is an in-office procedure utilizing scissors.
Anterior release is available
If you are not a member, Dr. Kopelman requires previous evaluation by an IBCLC or a lactation visit with her (included in the service).
Children must be 8 weeks or younger for Dr. Kopelman to perform the procedure.
Vitamin K injection is required prior to procedure.
Price is $600 for non-members
Price is $250 for members or if done in conjunction with a Single Consult or the Complete Package.
